HUF releases the third installment of its HUF 10th Anniversary Photo Tee Series in collaboration with photographer Mike O’Meally. O’Meally was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. He began photographing skateboarding in the early nineties and moved to New York City in 1998 to work for SLAP & Thrasher Magazine. He has since worked as Senior Photographer for Skateboarder Magazine and Transworld Magazine, and has been shooting for nearly 20 years. In addition to the thrill of shooting skateboarding, O’Meally also enjoys traveling and photographing a wide range of subjects, including anything from amateur boxers in East LA to zinc mines in Tasmania, to name a few. O’Meally’s photo of Keith Hufnagel for this project was shot during his first ever visit to NYC in 1997.

New York-based photographer Ari Marcopoulos will be debuting his new solo exhibition, entitled “Wherever You Go,” at NYC’s Marlborough Chelsea with an opening reception this Thursday, May 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Marlborough Chelsea is located at 545 W 25th St, New York, NY, 10001, and the exhibition will be on display through June 16, 2012.

The Montana Skatepark Association will be hosting an opening reception for their upcoming ON DECK 7 exhibition this Friday, May 4, 2012, from 5-10pm at The Brink Gallery, located at 111 W. Front St., Missoula, MT. This event will mark their 7th Annual Skate Deck Art Auction fundraiser, which helps raise money for skateboarding. Over 40 custom skateboard decks created by artists from across Montana and the United States will be on display, as well as the full-scale L.A. Fire Hydrant made entirely from recycled skateboards by Japanese skateboarder and artist Haroshi, created for the recent HUF x Haroshi x DLX Collaboration. For more information, please click here.
